President's Message

29 October 2021

Dear Nobles,

It is with great pleasure that I am writing this letter to you as your new Club President. I am deeply honored to know that my fellow Noblemen felt me worthy and has thus entrusted me with such an important responsibility.

As members of Emirat Shrine living in our great community, my goal for our Club is to truly emulate the ideals of Shriners International – to be “a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth.” As Shriners, we emphasis on the “fun” aspect while always living the Masonic principles as we look for new and innovative ways to support our official philanthropy, the Shriners Children’s. As we move forward, I hope to lead us in a direction where we can do more, give more, and be more.

Do more – As indicated in our annual communication, we have already sought and received approval from Emirat Shrine to conduct collaborative awareness and fundraising with our local PHA Shriners. In addition, I have already initiated discussions with the current PHA Shriner Potentate. Through this collaborative effort, it is my goal that our Club gain greater awareness on base to attract other Regular Shriners to Emirat, allowing us to give more both physically and monetarily.

Give more – As we do more, we naturally will gain more. Part of that gain will be monetary, allowing the Stuttgart Shrine Club to do more and ultimately give more. According to the Shriners Children’s homepage, Shriners like you and I have helped raise funds that support more than 17 international outreach locations and have aided in the treatment of over 1.5 million children. It is my hope that through these efforts, the Stuttgart Shrine Club will move into a position where we can not only contribute to our official philanthropy but our community as well.

Be more – In the old expression, “actions speak louder than words”, we as Shriners are first Masons who should always live the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. Many in the world have no idea that Shriners are Masons first. Through our actions this year, we will show there is no greater display of brotherly love than through our collaborative efforts with PHA, our relief and charity will unquestionably surmount valiant efforts and our behavior and actions will express the true nature of our hearts.

With greater awareness, funding and growth comes greater capability. It is my ultimate goal for the Stuttgart Shrine Club to sincerely make a difference and Rise and Shrine! I am excited to lead the Stuttgart Shrine Club in a direction where we can do more, give more, and be more. I look forward to all that we can accomplish as we work together to solidify the prestigious nobility of the Stuttgart Shrine Club.

Fraternally and always in your service,

Club President

The Brotherhood of the Shrine

The mission of the Stuttgart Shrine Club derives directly from the Emirat Shrine Temple and is based on two pillars:

Having fun for us as Freemasons means coming together with loved ones outside our traditional Masonic meetings, celebrating the sunny side of life and having a good time together.

Helping children through our health care system means:

Our Transportation Fund makes it possible to help children in Europe, Africa and the Near East to bring them to a Shriners Hospital where they can be helped with their health problems.
